Learn What’s Next for Education & Workforce Development at Eggs & Issues
Join the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce on Friday, July 31 for our next Eggs & Issues breakfast as regional leaders discuss the future of education, workforce development, and economic growth.
This month’s program, Education Pathways & GPLC Initiatives, brings together leaders who are helping build the talent pipeline for Central Illinois. Hear from James Shadid, President of Bradley University, Jamonica Rolle, President of Illinois Central College, and Megan Thomasson, Director of Project Management for the Greater Peoria Leadership Council (GPLC).
The discussion will explore how educational institutions, employers, and regional organizations are working together to prepare students for in-demand careers, strengthen workforce pathways, and create opportunities that help businesses attract and retain talent. Attendees will also receive updates on Bradley University’s Path2BU program, Illinois Central College’s vision under new leadership, and GPLC’s 3-Block Initiative — projects that are shaping the future of our region.
