“I Walk for You” Team Fundraiser Event July 18, 2026
Alzheimer’s disease touches nearly every community, yet for many families it remains a quiet struggle—balancing medical appointments, safety concerns, and the heartbreak of watching a loved one change. This week, that quiet struggle becomes collective action as the I Walk for You team partners with local businesses for a community fundraiser dedicated to accelerating research, expanding support services, and honoring those living with dementia.
Many of our team members volunteer in memory of a loved one affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. We are asking for the support of our community as we raise funds for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The Peoria Walk will take place on October 3, 2026, at the Gateway Building (200 NE Water St., Peoria, IL). Festivities begin at 8:30am, with the walk starting at 10am. Participants can choose between 1-mile or 2-mile routes, both returning to the starting point.
We invite you to join us in supporting the fight to end Alzheimer’s by attending our team’s fundraiser on July 18, 2026, from 10am to 2pm at Blutowne Apartments in the Levee District (501 W. Washington St., East Peoria, IL). The event will feature multiple vendors, baked goods, and a silent auction with exciting items including Coach wristlets, themed gift baskets, and gift cards from local restaurants.
