The purpose of the Riverfront Freedom Memorial is to commemorate those who have made possible the freedoms we all enjoy. On the perimeter of the Memorial, five flags fly the colors of each of the five branches of military service. The centerpiece of the Memorial is an 80’ tall lighted flagpole flying a 20’ by 30’ American flag.
The ground surrounding the pole features an 800 square foot memorial courtyard. At the courtyard’s center is a large five-pointed star surrounded by brick pavers. These pavers will be engraved with the names or messages to whom this memorial is dedicated.

The Memorial is located in Riverfront Park on the East Peoria Riverfront.

You can memorialize your friend or loved on with one of four paver options, engraved with your custom message.
