Come help Central Illinois riding therapy a non profit theraputic program that works with persons with mental, physical, emotional, social and behavioral disabilites all through horse related activities.

NO HORSE EXPERIENCE NEEDED!

Sign up for Volunteer Training! You only need to attend one class per week!

New and Return Volunteer Training Classes (Inside office: rules, policies and procedures, fill out volunteer forms). Mon. Mar 2; Tue. Mar 3; or Thu. Mar 5: 6-8pm or Wed. Mar 4: 10am-12pm.

Horse Handler Training Classes Week #1 (In Barn—please dress for the weather: Brushing, saddling, safety around horses) (Must have taken Volunteer Training Class) Mon. Mar 9; Tue. Mar 10 or Thu. Mar 12: 6 - 8pm or Wed. Mar 11: 10am – 12pm.

Horse Handler Training Classes Week #2 (In Barn—please dress for the weather: review, how to work around horses and riders) (Must have taken Volunteer Training Class and Horse Handler Training Classes Week #1) Mon. Mar 16; Tue. Mar 17; or Thu. Mar 19: 6 – 8pm or Wed. Mar 18: 10am – 12pm.

Advanced Horse Handler/Leader Training Classes (Review of previous classes and Learning how to lead horses) (Must have taken Volunteer Training Class and Horse Handler Training Classes Week #1 & #2) Mon. Mar 23; Tue. Mar 24; or Thu. Mar 26: 6 – 8pm or Wed. Mar 25: 10 – 12pm.
