Celebrating Success and Looking to the Future: East Peoria Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Dinner
The East Peoria Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, held Thursday evening, January 29, at the Par-A-Dice Hotel & Casino, brought together nearly 270 business and community leaders for a night of celebration, connection, and reflection on the year ahead. The ballroom was filled with energy as members, partners, and friends gathered to network and recognize those who make a meaningful impact in East Peoria and the surrounding region.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Chamber’s annual awards, honoring outstanding individuals and organizations for their leadership, service, and commitment to the community. Congratulations to this year’s recipients:
- Ambassador of the Year, Kelsey Horst of OSF
- Eco-Friendly Company of the Year, Enercon
- Small Business of the Year, Wilson Services
- Not-For-Profit of the Year, Peoria Area World Affairs Council
- Company of the Year, River City Construction, LLC
- Friend of the Year, Dr. Sheila Quirk-Bailey
- Citizen of the Year, Dean Smith.
Each award winner exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and dedication that strengthens our local business community.
The evening also featured inspiring remarks from James Shadid, President of Bradley University, who spoke about the importance of community partnerships and shared his vision for the future of Bradley University and its role in regional growth. Sister Judith Ann Duval of OSF provided the invocation, setting a thoughtful tone for the night, while Tim Cundiff of FOLEPI kept the program moving as the lively and engaging emcee.
