East Peoria’s Festival of Lights’ Winter Wonderland opened Nov. 28 at 5 p.m. and continues nightly through Jan. 4. Those making a trip to Folepi’s Winter Wonderland during the week can receive gift certificates from businesses, drop off a letters to Santa, and get Popcorn Shoppe Popcorn from radio personality and 99.9 CT FM host Rik Blade.

Monday night will again be Chick-fil-A Monday. Those in every vehicle through the drive-through display on Mondays December 1-29 will receive coupons from Chick-fil-A of East Peoria, while supplies last.

Tuesday nights will be Letters to Santa Tuesday at Folepi’s Winter Wonderland. From 5-8 p.m. Tuesdays Deember 2-30, children can drop off letters to Santa himself. Adults will drive to the display admission booth and pay on the left side, while children can hand letters to Santa out of the right side of the vehicle. He might even pop his head in the window for a photo. Children will need to remain in the vehicle and have their letters ready to hand to Santa when arriving at the admission booth.

Wednesday nights will be Elevate Trampoline Park. Each vehicle at the drive-through display will receive a discounted jump time coupon Wednesdays December 3-31, while supplies last, courtesy of Elevate Trampoline Park in East Peoria. The coupon is good at the Elevate East Peoria and Peoria locations.

Thursday nights will be Dairy Queen Thursday. Each vehicle at the drive-through display will receive a coupon, while supplies last, on Thursdays December 4-Jan. 1 from East Peoria Dairy Queen.

Friday night, December 12 will be RIK on a STIKer. Radio Personality Rik Blade, from 99.9 CT FM, will be at the Winter Wonderland entrance 5-6:30 p.m. handing out free bags of Rik-Mix popcorn from the Popcorn Shoppe to the first 99 cars of the night. This new promotional element provides a good snack and laughter from one of Santa’s elves, Rik Blade.

Sunday nights will be Culver’s Sunday. Each vehicle at the drive-through display will receive coupons from Culver’s East Peoria, while supplies last, on Sundays Nov. 30-Jan. 4.

Winter Wonderland hours are 5-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 5-9 p.m. Dec. 26-Jan. 4. Admission is $10 for cars, trucks, and vans; $50 for a small bus, including mini, party, shuttle, school, RV and limousine; and $150 for a full-size charter motorcoach. Payment can be made using cash, debit cards and credit cards.
