TAZFEST ’25 drew an outstanding turnout, with more than 300 community members in attendance. The event, hosted by the Tazewell County TRIAD, highlighted critical issues affecting older adults while providing valuable resources and connections.

Featured speakers included Tazewell County Sheriff Jeff Lower, representatives from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, and the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program. Presentations addressed topics such as current scams, elder fraud prevention, disaster preparedness, and strategies to reduce household energy costs through efficiency programs.
