International Games Day
Get your game on at the library! The library isn’t just a place for books, but also a gathering place for all ages. FDL celebrates gaming in all its forms on Saturday, November 15, 11am to 3pm. Visit the vintage-to-current video arcade, play board games, try some “Friendly Smash Bros.,” immerse yourself in Virtual Reality, and enjoy gaming-themed crafts for everyone. Games entertain and educate, encourage critical thinking and problem solving, and help improve social skills. Gaming serves as yet another example of how libraries can fulfill your desire to learn, play, and yes, read. Come play at FDL!

Homebound Delivery Service
Did you know Fondulac District Library provides Homebound Delivery Service? Whether you’re unable to visit FDL because of a permanent or temporary condition, homebound delivery keeps the library’s collection accessible, bringing you a variety of materials to keep you informed, entertained, and engaged!

Eligible individuals must reside within district boundaries and be confined to their residence, either temporarily due to extended illness/convalescence or permanently due to disability, age, or other medical issue. Applications are available online or at the library or can be completed over the phone. Staff will explain service policies, procedures, and the homebound-use library card during the application approval process. Alternatively, eligible patrons may opt to designate a household or family member to pick up, deliver, and return materials on their behalf. Please contact the library for more information or to get started.

Gingerbread House Workshop Registration Begins 11/1
The library’s annual Gingerbread House Workshop will be held Saturday, December 6, 9:30am-3:30pm and provides everything you need to decorate your own sweet holiday home. Registration begins November 1 in the Children’s Department and must be done in person; registration and prepayment of $5 per house is required to participate. Because houses are limited, households may not reserve more than three.
