Illinois Central College is offering Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training in September, October and December 2025. These courses are designed to equip everyday people with the skills to support someone experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.

MHFA training empowers participants to:

• Recognize the signs of mental health and substance use issues.
• Respond with confidence using a proven action plan.
• Connect individuals to the appropriate support and resources.

Participation in MHFA also helps to break down stigma and build stronger, healthier communities.
