Dig out your hats and dust off your cowboy boots for a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the annual CIRT Barn Dance Fundraiser, Friday, September 19th from 5 to 11pm at Central Illinois Riding Therapy (CIRT), 305 Neuman Dr., East Peoria. 

There is a suggested $5 cover donation to enjoy music by Whiskey River and dancing under the stars starting at 6:30pm. Food, soda, and water will be available to purchase from Tin Roof Smokehouse until 8pm. BYOB and chairs to relax and enjoy the fun.

Join family and friends for Horse Pie Bingo, a silent auction, 50/50 drawing and two raffles. First and second prize in the Hog Raffle are half a hog from Sipp Farms, Hanna City. One ticket is $5 or five for $20. Need not be present to win.

A gun/cash raffle is offering a Charles Daly, 601 Sport, semi-automatic, 12-gauge shotgun with 3 in. chamber, 28 in. barrel, matte black finish, synthetic stock with checkered pattern, fiber optic front sight, six rounds, including three choke tubes, or $400 cash. Get one ticket for $5, three tickets for $10, or 10 tickets for $20. Need not be present to win. 

Proceeds from the CIRT Barn Dance benefit CIRT, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that provides therapeutic riding lessons to children and adults with disabilities.
