It feels like over a decade since the Fon du Lac Park District regularly hosted community events—but we’re ready to change that. With new momentum, a dedicated team, and a whole lot of excitement, we’re bringing back the kind of fun our community has been missing.

We’re kicking things off with something big, bubbly, and totally unforgettable.

Surf’s Up Foam Fest – August 16
Join us for the first-ever Surf’s Up Foam Fest, a free, end-of-summer celebration for the whole family, happening Saturday, August 16 from 10 AM to 1 PM at Veterans Park.

The star of the show? Foam cannons, blasting tons of sudsy fun from 11:00 to 12:30. Kids (and adventurous adults) can jump into a mountain of foam while enjoying a lineup of exciting extras: inflatable slides, balloon art, face painting, crafts, and sweet treats from Kona Ice.

We’re teaming up with some fantastic partners to make the day special—Expressions Body Art, Foam & Flight, The Unique Twist Balloon Art, M.R. Party Time, and more.

Bring your flip-flops and your sense of fun. This one’s going to be a blast—literally!

Coming Up This Fall
The fun doesn’t stop there. On September 20, our Trucks + Trades event lets kids explore big machines and meet real-life professionals in the trades. Then, on September 27, we’re hosting an outdoor movie night featuring Monsters, Inc., complete with free popcorn and cozy fall vibes.
