Congratulations to Grant Hangartner who was promoted from lieutenant to the rank of assistant chief and Dan Johnson who was promoted from firefighter and temporary lieutenant to the rank of lieutenant!

Assistant Chief Hangartner has been a member of EPFD for 14 years, hired March 1, 2011. He had been a lieutenant since 2021 and previously oversaw the department’s fire prevention education activities.

Lt. Johnson has been a member of EPFD for 17 years, hired Sept. 17, 2007. He presently is the coordinator of the fire department’s car seat safety check program.
