The East Peoria Chamber hosted Mayor John Kahl’s State of the City on Friday, February 28 at the Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino.

As always, the Par-A-Dice staff provided a wonderful breakfast buffet and prepared an excellent room layout. Wilson Services provided beautiful floral arrangements around the stage.

The attendees included businesses, Not for Profits, other taxing bodies, elected officials, and residents. 

Mayor Kahl advised the audience of new business and community projects, the City’s new branding campaign, and work being done by City departments. He also praised the work being done by School District 86 and 309, Fondulac Park District, and Fondulac District Library.

The Mayor thanked everyone for their help in making East Peoria what it is and will be in the future.

The program was comprehensive and well presented. A copy of the presentation will be posted on the City and Chamber websites. In addition, East Side Community Media recorded the program and will be shown on Channel 22.
