Due to the uncertainty of winter weather, the East Peoria Fire Department does not offer its monthly car seat check event in January and February. The next monthly event will be 1–4 p.m. March 5, 2025.

However, those needing a car seat check before March can request a free appointment online at https://bit.ly/CarSeatCheckAppointment.

Appointments are not available to those seeking a car seat check for court-ordered community service hours. If that is the case, the person must call the health department in their county of residence to make car seat check arrangements.
