Find EP Location in Folepi Town, Track Down Contest

Those who find a very specific location in East Peoria have a chance to win prizes in the third annual Folepi Town, Track Down Contest, part of the Festival of Lights.

Open to residents from throughout the area, Folepi Town, Track Down will start Dec. 2 when a picture of something in East Peoria will be revealed on folepi.org at https://bit.ly/Folepi-Town-Track-Down. There are no clues, just the photo, and people will need to try and find the location in East Peoria.

Those who can figure out the location will go to either EastSide Centre, 1 EastSide Drive, or the East Peoria Civic Plaza in the area between East Peoria City Hall and Fondulac District Library, 401 W. Washington St., and fill in a finders’ slip telling what the picture is and where they saw it in detail, their name, and phone number. The finders’ slip will then be deposited into a box for a prize drawing. Deadline for turning in finders’ slips is Dec. 16 at 3 p.m.

From all finders’ slips, one person’s name will be drawn on Dec. 17. That person will win a $50 VISA gift card, five passes to the Folepi’s Winter Wonderland drive-through display, a 12-month membership to EastSide Centre, and two overnight hotel stays.

Those participating in the photo hunt must be respectful of property and park in safe locations that do not block traffic.
